What we collect
When you order: your name, email, shipping address, what you bought and any personalization you asked for. When you use the contact or custom-work forms: what you type and any photos you attach. When you sign up for shop notes: your email address.
We keep a short technical log (for example a hashed IP address) to stop spam and abuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies; the site sets only a session cookie and a cart cookie.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal on their own secure pages. We never see or store your card number.
How we use it
To make and ship your order, send order and shipping emails, answer your questions, and keep records the tax authorities require.
Shop-notes email goes only to people who ask for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you will be asked to confirm your address first. Our mailing list is run on our own email system and delivered through Mailgun.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make the shop work: our web host, Stripe or PayPal for payment, the carrier that delivers your parcel, and our email delivery providers. We never sell your information.
Your choices
Ask us to see, correct or delete your information by emailing contact@cowboycustoms.co. We keep order records only as long as Canadian tax law requires.
